Statement Of Faith
We believe in the Holy Bible, as providing an infallible testimony to the redeeming work of God, and constituting the final authority for Christian faith and life. (ll Timothy 3:16-17)
We believe in the living God, the Creator and Sustainer of heavens and the earth. (Genesis 1-2; Hebrews 1:3; John 1:3, 5:17)
We believe in Jesus Christ, conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, God's only Son, our Lord and Redeemer. (Matthew 1:18-25; Matthew 2:1, Luke 1:26-27; Luke 2:4; Mark 10:45; John 1:1-4, 14; 1 John 1:1-4; Hebrews 4:14-16, Colossians 1:15)
We believe in the Holy Spirit, who comes from God and Christ, who is the giver of new life. (John 3:3-5; 14:6; 16:8-15; 15:26ff; Romans 8; I Corinthians 6:19; Galatians 5:22ff)
We believe in the redemptive work of Christ on the Cross and the event whereby God delivered man from his bondage to sin, and brought him back into fellowship with Himself. (Mark 10:45, John 3:16, 8:34-36; 41-44, 10:10; Romans 1:4; 8:5-8, 10:9-10, Ephesians 2:1-3, 8)
We believe in one Christian Church, the Body of Christ, established by Jesus Christ, composed of His followers, who have been baptized upon their profession of faith, and who are commissioned to preach the Gospel to all men. (Matthew 16:17-18; 28:18-20; Acts 2:1-47, I Corinthians 15:42ff; I Thessalonians 4:13-18, Colossians 1:20; Revelations 3:20-22.)
